Tides is an audio visual project based on beautiful electronic music and inspired from nature, landscapes and solitude.
Photos and video clips from travels and archive sources are edited, treated and synched rhythmically and in mood to lush electronic music via Ableton Live and VDMX, with extra soundscapes generated via Reaktor.
Tides AV performed at London’s Raindance film festival 2009, reworking the Japanese film “Kakera” for the screening party at the Raindance cafe. There will be further performances come March 2010 where Tides will perform at the Pulse session (details soon), London, playing alongside audio/visual acts like Ho-Fun (Noodles),Point B, Zan Lyons, Codeshift, Disco.R_Dance, and InsideUsAll.
